Here is information on Dr. Ana Dodson, who will be leading the Temple Sinai Grief Support Group: It’s a deep honor to support fellow Temple Sinai members as they navigate the grieving process. As someone who has been part of this community for most of my life, I feel truly grateful for the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
I hold two master’s degrees and a doctorate in psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. I am certified in EMDR therapy for both children and adults, and I have completed advanced training in the Neurosequential Model of Education, a neurobiological framework developed by Dr. Bruce Perry to better understand the developmental impact of trauma.
With a background in trauma-informed care, I recognize that grief can be traumatizing, and I approach my work with compassion and sensitivity. I’m committed to walking alongside Temple Sinai members with care, respect, and understanding during times of loss.
